Featuring a deep yellow stained glass in the wing and subtle 3D elements like bent-out feet and a raised wing, this honeater is made to perch easily on fence posts, deck railings, or inside on a windowsill. The feet are bent at a 90° angle to allow fixation.

The weathering steel will gradually take on a rusted patina, creating a beautiful contrast against the glass’s colour as sunlight filters through it.
Fun fact: Did you know that New Holland Honeyeaters build two different types of nests for their two breeding peaks? A northern-facing, warmer nest for winter, and a deep, shaded nest for summer, which provides excellent insulation from the heat.
